Bolton Story

We Stand for Lives Changed by Christ

2021- September

The Beginning

On 1️9 September 2021️, about ten Christians started the first zoom meeting in Hong Kong. We worshipped, prayed and sought the guidance of our Lord Jesus to establish The Church of God in Bolton in accordance to God’s commands.
2021- November

We Got the Key to Meeting Place!

We had experienced bountiful grace from God and blessings from our brothers and sisters (we are family in God). Our Church members consist of young families (mostly immigrants from Hong Kong) and some local Christians in Bolton. Although we came from different backgrounds, we got together to form a lovely and warm God’s family. Praise the Lord, we got the keys to our Church house at Ash Lawns, Bolton on 26 November 2021️.
2021- November

First Baptism

On 28 November 2021️, we had our first baptism for our sister Vanissa in Manchester.
2021- December

First Bread Breaking Meeting

The first face to face Bread Breaking Meeting for The Church of God in Bolton (The Church) started on 5 December 2021️, which was an exciting and a memorable moment!

The Great Commission

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
